Grzegorz Tatoń is a graduate in physics. He earned a master’s degree from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków with a specialization in medical and computer physics (1994). He get the PhD in Physics from the Department of Nuclear Physics at the same Faculty in 2000. He holds also habilitation in medical biology from the Faculty of Medicine at Jagiellonian University Medical College (2016).

Since 1998, he has been a researcher and academic teacher at the Department of Biophysics at the Faculty of Medicine of Jagiellonian University Medical College, currently employed as an assistant professor.
The main areas of interest are:

imaging diagnostics with a particular focus on the use of digital image analysis and 3D imaging,
the effect of electromagnetic fields on the human body.
